Smarsh – not SMERSH you fool! Don’t leave your email lying around
Smarsh – not SMERSH, the James Bond nemesis – is a company that offers several levels of email management. I was introduced to this company at this week’s LegalTech NYC. Since email and text messaging have become the way of communicating for most companies, most email programs/servers are not by themselves able to manage and back-up email securely to the degree that Smarsh can. Smarsh is a SAS (Software as Service) company so all information is stored off-site in their bunker type facilities. Email is archived and ready for retrieval instantly.
