Passive-Aggressive – ContactNet
ContactNet is what could be referred to as a “passive” CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and business development tool that rides over a law firm’s email, contact management system and documents to draw conclusions on relationships within the firm to clients and others. So if a lawyer hears about a potential case on the morning news, he/she can then search for that person’s name in ContactNet and determine if the firm is already doing business with their person, who’s had the most recent contact with the client, and what volume of business the other lawyers in the firm have done with the client. There is no data entry needed for this system like there would be for a typical CRM system. More on ContactNet is available at www.contactnetworks.com. This particular product is branded under Thomson-Reuters and was on display at the LegalTech NYC show this past week.
